Testimonial for Abilene Eye Institute
I am writing to inform you of my Lasik surgery that I had on November 30. I
waited to write until my first check up so I could give you more
information. The surgery went very well. Afterwards, I had slight
discomfort for about three hours, of which I rested during that time. That
evening, everything was 'cloudy', but I did not have any pain, discomfort,
scratchiness, or dryness. I never had to take the pain prescription either.
The next day I went back for my evaluation and it was a miracle to say the
least. My sight was a little blurry but I could read the letters that were
on the third and fourth lines of the table of the eye exam. Before the
surgery I could not even read the six inch letters such as the large E and
T. I knew they were there because I could see a fuzzy haze, but no way could
I tell you what they were; then the next day I am seeing and reading 1/2 to
1/4 inch letters!!! I couldn't believe it.
Over the week I have had good
days and bad days referring to the amount of blurriness, but I have improved
so much. Yesterday I went for my one week exam and my doctor said my eyes
are improving and healing great. He does not expect any complications in my
recovery. I am able to do everything, such as drive, read, etc. I am so
glad I had this done. It is better than I had ever imagined...
Sincerely,
Deanna Sharp
