A few months ago I made the decision to look into vision correction surgery. I was tired of the constant bother of dealing with contact lenses, and I don't like to wear glasses. My contact lens prescription called for mono vision, and I have done well with that. I thought if they could do the same thing with corrective surgery, I would go for it.

I decided to go ahead with the corrective surgery in mid November. Prior to the procedure, Dr. Castellano explained exactly what he would be doing at each step along the way. The procedure was painless and took less than 15 minutes total time under the laser. Follow up visits have been quick and indicate that my eyes are adjusting correctly.

It's been three weeks since the procedure and I am completely satisfied with the results, so far. The first week was a bit difficult since my distance vision was not yet up to my needs, but close up for reading was great. Today my distance vision is very good and getting better.

I would recommend Dr. Castellano to anyone looking into this type of surgery.
