Dr. Beatty began performing LASIK surgery in 1996, and has since completed over 4,000 procedures.
Dr. Beatty has been in private practice in Denver since 1987, specializing in cornea and external eye diesase. Because
of the LASIK procedure involves making a slice in the cornea, Dr. Beatty's corneal fellowship training prepares him
in the unlikely event of a complication to administer the necessary treatment. Dr. Beatty is also a certified
clinical trainer for the LADARVision excimer laser.
He belongs to the many of the most prestigious organizations in his profession: Colorado Medical Society, Eye Bank Association
of America, American Academy of Ophthalmology, Colorado Society of Eye Physicians & Surgeons, Arapahoe Medical Society, and
the American Society of Cataract & Refractive Surgeons.
