LASIK
FREE Evaluation
Vision correction can only be as good as the diagnosis. We spend a good deal of time up front assessing your eyes so that we can make the best possible recommendations for your situation. Our patients must pass all of our testing before being deemed a candidate for refractive surgery.
No two eyes are the same. To make a fully informed decision and understand options that are right for you, we encourage you to make a complimentary appointment where Dr. Boxer Wachler can give you a thorough evaluation and you can visit our progressive facilities.
Dr. Boxer Wachler is proud to offer infrared pupil measuring equipment used to minimize the risk of glare and halos with industry guidelines he developed.
Contact us today to schedule your free LASIK evaluation.

Pricing
Refractive surgery at the Boxer Wachler Vision Institute starts at $1,700 per eye. Our all-inclusive fees include the preoperative and postoperative exams, surgery fees, and, if necessary, enhancements for up to one year after the initial procedure.

Results
Less than 3% of Dr. Boxer Wachler's refractive surgery patients require retreatment after their initial surgery.

Enhancement Policy
Enhancements (think of an enhancement as a touch-up procedure) are covered in the initial fee for one year after the initial procedure, though less than 3% of Dr. Boxer Wachler's refractive surgery patients require an enhancement. Depending on the condition of vision after the initial procedure, Dr. Boxer Wachler may chose from a variety of refractive procedures to best enhance a patient's vision.

LADARVision®
The LADARVision® system addresses the
challenge of eye movement with its incredibly fast and accurate
laser radar eye tracking system. Adapting a tracking concept originally
developed by NASA, the LADARVision®
system employs technology that tracks eye movements 4,000 times
a second, more than fast enough to follow, and compensate for,
eye movement.
LADARVision Laser
LADARVision's® small 0.8 mm flying small-spot
laser beam is very precise, gradually shaping the cornea by removing
the least amount of tissue necessary for refractive error correction.
The small-beam laser represents the next generation of excimer
laser technology. Currently the only small-beam laser to be FDA
approved, that also incorporates Active Eye tracking technology,
is the LADARVision® system by Alcon
Summit Autonomous.
The laser's U-shaped tip, with smooth, round corners, aids in producing
a smooth surface on the cornea.

Sunrise Hyperion LTK
The SUNRISE LTKTM procedure is
designed specifically for people age 40 and older who have low to
moderate farsightedness.
A non-contact laser procedure, Laser Thermal Keratoplasty (LTK)
uses a beam of laser energy to gently reshape the cornea (outer
layer of the eye).
The SUNRISE LTKTM Procedure is
so fast that the laser application takes about three seconds per
eye.
