The Garland Ophthalmology Center provides routine eye examinations, refractive surgery, and emergency eye care. We manage a wide range of eye disorders - both medical and surgical - including diabetic eye disease, cataract, glaucoma, and macular degeneration. Our facility houses LASER capability, a visual field analyzer, retinal photography, A-scan ultrasonography and corneal topography.

I'm more conservative and want the patient to understand that this is an elective procedure, and although it is extremely successful - it is still surgery. I am very up front and honest about their goals and stress realistic visual expectations after LASIK surgery.
