Dr. Kloess is a board certified,
fellowship trained ophthalmologist specializing in LASIK laser vision
correction, "no stitch" cataract laser surgery, corneal transplantation
surgery, and glaucoma laser surgery.
He returned home to Birmingham
in 1994 as the founder and Medical Director of the Alabama Vision Center
located on the campus of Baptist Montclair Hospital. He is a fellow
of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and President of the Alabama
Academy of Ophthalmology.
Dr. Kloess has performed over
15,000 eye surgeries in his 17 years of practice. He began performing
the LASIK procedure in 1997 and has since performed over 2,500 procedures.
