L. Schneider, M.D., who is also a board certified member of
the American Academy of Ophthalmology, certified by the American
Board of Eye Surgeons, American Society of Cataract and Refractive
Surgeons, and the International Society of Refractive Surgery,
gives you years of experience.
Dr. Schneider is recognized as one of the top refractive surgeons
in the country and is a leader in Laser Vision Correction.
He was one of the first nine surgeons in the U.S. to perform
the LASIK procedure in 1994! He started the Refractive Surgery
program at the Mayo Clinic both here in Jacksonville and in
the other Mayo Clinic locations!

PAYMENT
Payment
in full is due before or at the time of surgery. Acceptable
methods of payment are cash, check, bank check, major credit
card and pre-approved credit. We accept (Visa, MasterCard,
Discover and American Express).
PRE-APPROVED
CREDIT PLANS
For
about $2 to $3 a day you can enjoy the benefits of LASER VISION
CORRECTION by enrolling in one of our flexible financing plans
designed to help make LASER VISION CORRECTION affordable to
virtually everyone. For those who qualify, there is no money
down and up to five years to complete your payment plan. To

on affordable payment options on our front page. If you have
any questions our counselors will be happy to discuss your
financing options with you
INSURANCE COVERAGE
Most
insurance plans do not cover the LASIK procedure. However,
you should definitely contact your insurance company to determine
if it is included in your Benefits Plan. Some insurance may
cover your surgery, if it only pays for part of your surgery
you are responsible for the remaining balance.
Be
sure to check and see if you have VSP (Vision Service Plan)
or ECPA ( Eye Care Plan of America). Though these plans do
not pay for LASIK surgery, they do have a discounted rate,
and we are glad to offer VSP and ECPA.
